So I was writing a blog about this weekend, but well I don't like it...so here are some pics and a little bit about this weekend!

I finally have my Ring..



EYB in College Station is always crazy crowded...



I dunked my ring...totally unplanned. During "Guardian Angel" Mike started talking about people getting rings and dunking them and Kendra and Kayla were like so dunk it...and well thats what happened! :) I mean really I guess there is not better time than at an EYB show during "Guardian Angel"






We talked to the boys after the show...



And that was about it. Crazy day and night, but lots of fun with some of my most favorite people!

Lets see, its 11:15 on a thusday night, and I'm about to go to sleep. This week has been very unusual in that I can't honestly remember a lot of it because I've been so busy. It is finally starting to be test and paper time, so i've been trying to stay caught up with school but for some reason I haven't had that much time. Work has been crazy because of the Hurricane and trying to help figure out what to about the students at A&M Galveston. As busy as it has been though, I've really enjoyed it and I have learned a lot this week. Thankfully I've learned how to handle stress better or things might not have been okay.

Speaking of stress, the only thing this week that made me stressed was the stupid Student Communication Association, I am an officer but the president is so clueless and unorganized it makes me mad. She doesn't tell me anything, then expects things to be done. So I am in the process of trying to get some money back on some things I bought (can't get the advisor and president to sign stuff) and after that I'm quitting. It is not that important especially when she is so inconsiderate.

Now, enough complaining....I get my AGGIE RING tomorrow!!! :) I am so excited, seriously this has been one of those things I really have been wanting since I was like 5 to get. My mom and Tommy are coming tomorrow and that makes me happy. I am upset that my dad isn't coming, I actually cried today because of it, but I guess he has to do what he has to do. Then EYB's cd release party is at Harry's tomorrow night. I'm excited but not at the same time. Its going to be crowded and honestly I don't know how its going to be. There are going to be a lot of people there that I haven't seen in a really long time, and I just hope things are okay. I guess thats what happens when most of my friends are somehow connected to music. I really am excited though, getting my ring and getting to see some of my favorite people should be lots of fun.

I'll let you know how getting my ring goes and the show...should be intersting, and since Susanna is coming I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures.

My radio, records and popular music class is one of my favorite classes. Its nice to actually enjoy class...especially at 4 in the afternoon. On Monday's we usually just talk about different readings and music in general, and on Wednesday we usually have a writing assignment. I love writing, and writing about music is just fun. Well this week the topic was about music as a social activity. Well that was an easy topic for me to talk about and write. It was actually hard for me to just pick one thing to write about, but thinking about it made me kinda miss things. Looking through old pics was probably not the best idea...

I can't sleep...

so I figure I would update this a little. I've tried to write lately but I keep getting distracted, so here are just some random things.

~School is going well, its only the 3rd week and I haven't had any tests yet but I feel pretty good about most of my classes.

~10 days until I get my AGGIE RING!!!

~1 week until EYB's new cd comes out. Its amazing, and I'm ready to actually have a copy. "Guinevere" sounds great...its been on repeat since I downloaded it. Even if you don't really like EYB, you should listen to this song, its one of my favorites.

~My desktop won't turn on, I'm not sure why and its driving me crazy. Luckily I bought an external hard drive a few weeks ago and had everything backed up or I would probably not be okay with things. I still have my laptop, but i miss having both.

~Speaking of things breaking, my phone isn't working well at all. Sometimes it works great, other times it won't work at all. I don't do well without my phone but I don't have money for a new one.

~While we are on the topic of things breaking, my car is falling apart. Its 7 years old and has almost 100,000 miles on it, but I really wish it would last until I graduate.

~I'm already wanting this week to end, not because its been bad just because I am ready for next week. EYB in spring, Aggie Ring, EYB in College Station...thank goodness I don't have any tests or papers due.

~I miss teaching dance, I actually started calling around to see if anyone needed teachers. Really I just miss kids in general so if i could just do something one or two nights a week I would be happy.

~I went to Houston on Friday to see Jack with Renee. It was exactly the show I needed. Jack was amazing as always and well it was nice to get away from CS for the night.

~I miss my grandparents and my cousin Dylan. I was home so much this summer and basically got to see them all the time. Now I don't have time to go home and it makes me sad. I had thought about going home this weekend, but Dylan is going to be with his mom so I wouldn't even get to play with him. So I guess I'm just staying in CS and getting stuff done here.

Now that I've written, maybe I can sleep or something. I have to be up in 5 hours and its not going to be fun.
