I always think I should write, but then I realize I don't have much to update. My weeks are pretty much the same, work, internship, dance, school, sleep and sometimes a concert. The only thing out of the ordinary last week was Django coming Tuesday. Since I don't get to see him very often, I decided I break my rule of not going out during the week. He played at Schotzi's and I didn't get home until 3. I can't do that anymore, I was tired the rest of the week, and then I was sick. I was never really that sick, just enough to make me not feel good. I think it was the lack of sleep. I stayed around my apartment most of the weekend and didn't do a lot. My parents went to the woodland's last night to see JJW and Django, so they came by CS and took me to lunch before they went. Yay for free food! haha.

I ordered my graduation announcements yesterday and picked out a diploma frame. Still scary...I still can't believe I'm actually going to graduate. I've applied for a few more jobs, one in Houston, one in Garland, and one in Gruene. I really don't know that I am qualified for any of them, but I decided it didn't hurt to apply. I'm not freaking out about the whole not having a job thing yet, but I'm sure I will at some point. I've still been looking at several jobs in CS, but I don't think I want to stay here. I want to be close to my family, I want to be by my friends, I need to be around people and all I do here is go to work/school and come home. Hopefully something will work out, but for now I'll just continue keeping myself busy.

It's been awhile since I updated because honestly most of my free time has been spent sleeping or studying. I started my internship on Monday and I absolutely love it. The people are great and I'm getting to do what I enjoy. Right now I'm redesigning all of their newsletters, brochures, and other promotional items. It is a really good opportunity because although I know how to do that stuff, I really don't have a lot of examples to show people. So now I will have things that are actually published that I can use for my portfolio. The other thing that I am going to start doing in a few weeks is blogging for the Ice Rink. Again, it is a great opportunity to have writing samples. I am going to be writing a weekly blog about the hockey and figure skating programs. This Saturday is the Aggie Hockey game against texas and I'm going to go watch/help with all the game day operations so that should be a good experience as well. As much as I wish I was getting paid to do this stuff, I actually think it is going to work out better that I'm not. I'm getting experience and the people I work with are actually really glad to have me working for them. Maybe eventually I'll get paid or maybe it will turn into a real job. Oh and my official title is assistant to the general manager...it sounds all official. LOL. So that's taking up about 16 hours a week. Oh one more thing, on monday when my boss was showing me around the office he took me down to the ice and showed me the Zamboni. I told him when I was little I had always wanted to ride the Zamboni at a Stars game and he told me that if I wanted I could learn to drive the Zamboni. I'm such a dork, but I'm excited!!

I'm still working on campus and I still love it as well. I like it now that I'm not working 40 hour weeks there like I was over the Christmas break because usually when I'm there now I actually have things to do as opposed to just sitting there and being bored. There are 2 new employees that started this week so its been fun getting to know them as well...oh and we've had cake and cookies all week to celebrate!

And my last job...teaching dance. It is going really well still. I love it and hopefully one day Erica and I can open a studio together like we have been talking about! In 2 weeks I am going to start babysitting my directors kids 2 nights a week and assisting in some of the baby classes so that should be fun too.

Oh and that other thing I have to do...school. So far it hasn't been too bad. One class I swear I could teach better than my prof. I try not to talk too much, but it really annoys me when my prof says something that I know is not true. I am aware that I know a lot more than most people about music, but seriously if you are going to teach something at least know the facts. I'm pretty sure that all my prof does is read and has no actual real life experiences with music/concerts. Oh and the guy looks like Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World. The other class is well just strange, I really have no idea what its about. Well I get what we are talking about, I just have no idea how it relates to communication. So far all we have talked about are history and economics. Maybe somehow he is going to relate it to comm, but who knows. It is at least an interesting class and my prof is really knowledgeable on the subject. 3 months till graduation! :)

So as you can see, I don't really have much free time but I'm okay with that. It keeps me busy and I'm enjoying it. Even though I've been more tired this week than I have been in a really long time it was one of the bests weeks I've had in awhile. Tomorrow night is EYB at Harry's, as always I'm sure it will be an interesting night!

I hope you are all doing well, I miss roadtrips and seeing y'all so hopefully we can fix that soon. I'll be back in DFW the 20th for my mom's birthday so I hope I get to see some of you!
