Why is letting go of things so hard? For the most part, I had been doing well with things. I was "moving on" with life, and was happy again. It just took one thing though, and I missed it. I wanted that life back...then I came to back to reality and realized that I really didn't. It's kinda funny because music is what use to make me the happiest, and its still a big a part of my life, but I've learned to live without going to shows. I haven't been to a show since January 10 when I went to Austin to see George Strait and as much as I miss shows, my bank account has greatly appreciated it. My focus has been on school, work, saving money, and spending time with friends. I guess at some point I had to grow up. Currently I am making 4 A's and 1 class I have no idea about. I'm not saying that those grades are going to stay that high, but I haven't had grades even close to that since I've been at A&M. I was going to Port Aransas this weekend with my dad, kenya, and britt, but i decided to stay home and get caught up on things. I don't know that I necessarily have gotten much done, but relaxing has been nice. I'm excited about next week for many reasons. It should be fun and honestly I need to have a little fun. I'm going to dinner with Mindy sometime, Mel is coming to visit, EYB is at Harry's and well that in itself should be eventful. Erica and Emily are both going to EYB with me and that should be fun as always..then add Mel, Brian, Kayla, Mindy, Kaitlyn, Laura, Lorann and who knows who else and it should be an interesting night. I have 1 test this week and 1 the next then its spring break. I don't really have much planned just spending time with the family and then going to the beach house in Port Aransas some. Should be nice and relaxing. I figured out the other day that I will be out of town 6 weekends in March and April...i guess its a good thing i've been saving money, cause thats gonna get expensive. I'm glad I have another day this weekend and I think I'm going to go to the park (I have a project to do for school) and then I have a meeting with a company that my group is working with for my marketing class.
