Dawn and I went to see the boys for her birthday and it really was a lot of fun. Life has been crazy lately and really it was nice to go away and not think about things...although that did not really happen. Dawn did a nice recap of the weekend but I'll try and write a little too.
~Its not that I mind wearing my A&M stuff in Oklahoma...but maybe I should have at least packed a few shirts that were not A&M so I didn't get strange looks from people while eating in Norman.
~Going through the actual front door of Wormy Dog wasn't as fun as sneaking in the back door.
~I am still trying to figure out why a guy felt the need to pour his bucket of water and ice on my feet...one of those times I wish I would have actually had shoes on as opposed to flip flops.
~I think it is really funny that one week someone can act as if they don't know you and won't speak to you and then the next week act as if you have been friends forever. Oh well.
~I am glad we went to see the OKC bombing memorial, even though I was in 2nd grade when it happened I still remember it and it was a neat site.
~Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie is now my new favorite dessert.
~For some reason I actually watched the entire A&M/OU game on tv.
~I was warned several times that Weatherford was going to be interesting...interesting is really the best word to describe it.
~There were way too many dead animal heads on the wall in that bar...it was a little creepy at times.
~Not only were there trucks with trailers...but apparently the horses got to chill in the parking lot during the show.
~I missed CS drink prices...mom is not going to be happy when she gets this months CC bill, but really we all needed some jagerbombs!
~I don't get why people feel the need to push, for the most part it wasn't that bad but during Small Town Kid I thought I was going to hurt someone. Falling on the stage...not the most fun thing in the world.
~Best quotes of the night:-stolen from what Dawn remembered and wrote because well they were pretty great!
"I didn't have any lighting on the stage" "no one did" "except for that giant spotlight shining on you, I felt like I was at the Mike Eli show" "well, when you're good, you're good"
"Julianne Hough can dance with my stars anyday"
"Are you putting that hat on to keep your head from growing to the size of your ego?"
~I really just love seeing the boys, I know I can't see them as much as I use to but when I do its nice. Sitting on the bus and just getting to hang out made me miss how things use to be.
I'm not going to ruin this entry with details on how my weekend ended, I'll save that for another day. Dawn I hope you had a great birthday, hopefully next year the boys remember our pact and we can stay a little closer to home or at least somewhere cool like NYC or Vegas!

I had a great time! Thank you for going with me!
One thing I forgot to add to my list:
Only in OK will you have a waitress named Sunshine.
